Fuengirola has beautiful sandy beaches over a length of 7 km. From the Castillo Soheil to Torreblanca. The facilities on the beach are complete, beach beds, chiringuitos, water sports and even a water park. The beaches are wide and clean and you can easily reach it by the long promenade along the beach. Playa Carvajal is perhaps the most popular with chiringuito Cubanita where summer evenings have no end. There are 7 main beaches in Fuengirola: El Ejido, Santa Amalia, San Francisco, Los Boliches, Las Gaviotas, Carvajal and Torreblanca

The chiringuito beach bars are great: you can smell the Espeto de Sardinas everywhere. Fuengirola has restaurants and eateries for every taste. With a covered market hall you can even escape the sun and choose from a variety of dining options.

Fuengirola has a nice zoo which has a collaboration with BlijdorpZoo  in Rotterdam when it comes to the breeding program of monkeys, Bioparc Fuengirola. A swimming park,Aqua Mijas,, but also a water park at sea: CostaWaterPark. . In the harbor you can also take a boat trip to fish or spot dolphins. Fuengirola has a large commercial indoor shopping mall, Miramar Shopping Center with a large cinema and even go-kart track. There is a hop-and-hop off train that goes through the city and stops at various points. The largest flea market is held on the feria site, in addition it offers space for the annual feria and the weekly market on Tuesdays and Saturdays

In Fuengirola you cannot ignore the Castillo Sohail (Arabic castle), from here you have a beautiful view of Fuengirola and it is regularly the location of festivals and concerts. A visit to the Plaza de Toros bullring where you can read about the history of bullfighting. Fuengirola has several museums and a visit to the Roman ruins (Finca Del Secretario) makes your day complete. Not to forget: Mezquita de Fuengirola (Great Mosque) and Plaza de la Constitucion, where you can enjoy life in Fuengirola on one of the terraces.

With children you can practice mini golf at the Miramar Shopping Center.For a decent golf course you will find Mijas Golf about 4 km from Fuengirola. With a 2 x 18 Holes courses you can have a good time here. Finish with a drink at Tamisa Golf Hotel  after a wonderful day at the golf course.
